A half day meeting was organized by MuAN on "Sharing of Successful Municipal Solid Waste Management Practices" on July 2, 2010 with the support of PPPUE, UDLE.
The main Objective of the meeting was to disseminate the findings of the survey conducted by MuAN on the best practices utilized by municipalities to cope up with their waste. The five best practices were identified. They included the waste management techniques of Dhankuta, Ghorahi, Hetauda, Kathmandu and Kirtipur. |
